On the day of arrival, your room will be available from 15:00. On the day of departure, we ask you to vacate the room by 10:00.
Bathrobes and slippers are available in your room, free of charge. (Bathrobes are also available for children aged 4+).
Hotel Grones is located about 500 m from the centre of Ortisei in Val di Gardena, in the South Tyrolean Dolomites (province of Bolzano).
The town of Ortisei lies at an altitude of 1,236 m and Hotel Grones is at an altitude of approximately 1,260 m.
From Ortisei, you can easily reach 2,000 m with the Alpe di Siusi cable car, 2,500 m with the Seceda cable car and 2,200 m with the Rasciesa cable car. All three destinations allow you to set off into the extensive hiking area. Both Seceda and Alpe di Siusi are also beautiful and unique skiing areas.
The hotel is located in a very quiet area, just a 6–7-minute walk from the centre of Ortisei. The beautiful Luis Trenker walkway is right below the hotel and leads directly to the town centre.
The lifts can be reached within 7 minutes (Seceda) or 10 minutes (Alpe di Siusi) on foot.
In winter, our hotel shuttle service takes you directly to and from the ski lifts in Ortisei, where you can get straight into some skiing fun.

You are welcome to use our underground car park free of charge. The outdoor parking spaces behind the hotel are reserved for people who are checking in or out.
You can rent high-quality mountain bikes free of charge directly at the hotel. We also have child bike seats and helmets available for your safety.
We do not have e-bikes for rent at the hotel, but you can find them at several rental shops in Ortisei. There is a large selection of e-bikes at the Seceda cable car valley station, where you will be well advised.
The temperature in our swimming pool is 31°C and the jacuzzi is a lovely 33°C. Our pools are open daily from 07:00 to 19:00.
Our saunas are open daily from 15:00 to 19:00.
